The Aussie has a very solid all-court game, and has no real weaknesses. His biggest strengths are his movement and return, and he will be banking on those to get him through this match with Filip Krajinovic.

Filip Krajinovic is unseeded here at the US Open and is ranked 45th on the ATP Tour. The Serbian is a very dangerous player across all surfaces, but apart from a Finals appearance at Queens has been having a poor year. This should be a comfortable win for Alex de Minaur, but Filip Krajinovic is the type of player than can surprise you at any given time. The Australian has the edge in form and pedigree on this surface, so I am expecting him to win, but it won’t be as easy as it may appear. Krajinovic has the game to pull off the upset, but that seems unlikely and we will see de Minaur advancing here in four or five sets at the US Open.
