Hertha BSC vs. Bayern Munich 1/23/22 Bundesliga Soccer Pick, Predictions, and Odds

Hertha BSC is welcoming Bayern Munich to Olympiastadion in round 20 of the German Bundesliga. Hertha has had some solid results as of late, but they haven’t won any of their last 2 Bundesliga games. Bayern has lost only one of their last 9 games, but they did win the other 8, including their last game against Koln.

Overall, Hertha hasn’t won any of their last 3 games, and they are now in 13^th place with 22 points. Luckily for Hertha, they are pretty solid, and they are better than every team from the bottom of the table. Offensively, Hertha has scored 21 goals, and Jovetic and Richter are the leading goalscorers for them with 5 goals each. Unfortunately for Hertha, Jovetic is injured, while a few other players are still questionable. Hertha won’t get anywhere near the Europa League this season simply because they don’t have the depth or the quality, but they are a solid team who won’t have any problems staying in Bundesliga.

Bayern is by far the best team in the league, and even though their defense hasn’t been the best this season, it has been good enough for them to stay at the top of the table. Bayern has 46 points, they are at the top, and they are 6 points ahead of Borussia Dortmund. When it comes to offense, no one can touch Bayern, and they have already scored 61 goals so far this season. as I’ve mentioned, Bayern’s defense hasn’t been the best, but they are stabilizing, and they have conceded 18 goals in total. Bayern is also getting some players back from covid, but they still have quite a few injuries. Lewandowski has scored 23 goals so far this season, and whenever Schick or Haaland get close to him, he scores another hat-trick. Thomas Muller has added 17 assists. Bayern has some good games ahead of them over the next few weeks, but they are slowly preparing for the Champions League and Red Bull Salzburg who they will face.

I think this will be a very, very, very hard game for Hertha, and honestly, I don’t think they stand a chance. Bayern will be dominant, they will create chances, and they will score a ton of goals in this one. I also see Lewandowski scoring at least 2 goals in this one.
