Genoa is hosting Juventus at Luigi Ferraris in round 36 of the Italian Serie A. Genoa is in very real danger of being relegated, and unless they win some points in their last few games, they will. Juventus is in the Champions League spot, they will qualify for the Champions League, but that is about it from them in Serie A this season.

Genoa has won only 1 of their last 5 games, while they lost the other 4. With 25 points, Genoa is now in 19th place, and with 3 games, they can still get out of it, but it will be hard. Offensively, Genoa hasn’t been a good team this season, they have scored only 25 goals, while their defense has been terrible with 55 conceded goals. In their last 3 games, Genoa has 3 tough games, and they will need a lot of luck on their side, and even that might not be enough. Mattia Destro is the leading goalscorer for Genoa with 9 goals, while Criscito has added 5 goals. Genoa has a very hard end of the season ahead of them, but if we are honest, I don’t think they are good enough to stay in the league.

Juventus has lost the title race a while ago, but they still have a chance to win the trophy this season, the Coppa Italia trophy against Inter next week. Defensively, Juventus has been pretty solid this season with only 31 conceded goals so far this season, but they haven’t been good enough in the attacking end. Juventus has scored 54 goals, which is simply not enough to win anything. Dybala is the leading goalscorer for Juventus with 9 goals, while Morata has added 8 goals. Dybala and Morata have added 5 assists each. The injuries have been a huge problem for Juventus this season, and they still have a bunch of injured players. If you ask me, this season has been a huge disappointment for Juventus, and I’m pretty sure they think the same way. I know Juventus can still win the Coppa Italia, but the good news is they have qualified for the Champions League, and that matters a lot to them. Genoa hasn’t been great this season as I’ve mentioned, while Juventus has been pretty solid on the road this season. Genoa has to get going if they want to stay in the league, but I think the most they will get here is the draw.
