Samsung Lions vs. Doosan Bears: 5/30/21 KBO Baseball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Samsung Lions and Doosan Bears  face off on Sunday in a KBO baseball showdown at Daegu Samsung Lions Park. 

In the first game of this series it was the Doosan Bears that were able to come away with the 9-4 victory. THe four runs for the Samsung Lions were scored in the 9th inning, but the Doosan Bears still were able to come away with the victory. In the second game, the Samsung Lions offense was the difference as they were able to win 16-4. 

The Samsung Lions come into this game with a 27-19 record overall which puts them in second place inside the KBO. IThe offense at times for this team has been a little inconsistent but they seem to be back on the right track after scoring 25 runs over the last two games. Jose Pirela comes into this game having hit 13 home runs and driving in 38 RBI’s. Min-ho Kang has also had a big year hitting five home runs and driving in 26 RBI’s. 

On the other side of this matchup is the Doosan Bears who sit with a 22-22 record overall but they have lost three games in a row.The pitching staff has been awful the last two games and they need to be better in this game. . Jae-Hwan Kim has been the best player for the Doosan Bears hitting nine home runs and driving in 38 RBI’s. Suk-hwan Yang has also had a big year hitting eight home runs and driving in 27 RBI’s. 

Walker Lockett will get the start for the Doosan Bears and coming into this game he sits with a 4-3 record and an ERA of 1.99. 

Seung-min Lee will get the start for the Samsung Lions and he comes into this game with a 1-2 record and an ERA of 6.43. 

Lockett has been strong for the Doosan Bears and he is going to have no issue getting the job done in this game. Look for the Doosan Bears to give him run support and that will lead to the Doosan Bears winning this game on the run line.
