Iowa State vs North Carolina A&T 11/13/22 College Basketball Picks, Predictions, Odds

The North Carolina A&T Aggies will be looking to rebound from a 112-71 loss at the hands of Iowa in their last game. Kam Woods led the Aggies with 18 points on 7 of 19 shooting with 7 rebounds and 3 assists while Demetric Horton and Marcus Watson each had 16 points to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for North Carolina A&T in the loss, with Watson shooting 7 of 11 with 5 rebounds while Horton shot 6 of 10 with 4 threes and a pair of steals. Austin Johnson also added a team-high 14 rebounds as well in the losing effort for North Carolina A&T.

The Iowa State Cyclones will try to build on a 88-39 rout of IUPUI last time out. Jaren Holmes led the way with 23 points on 8 of 16 shooting with 3 steals while Osun Osunniyi had 10 points on 4 of 6 shooting as the only other double-digit scorer for Iowa State in the win. Aljaz Kunc and Caleb Grill each had 9 points and 7 rebounds apiece as well in the victory for the Cyclones while Hason Ward had 7 rebounds and 3 steals as well in the win.

North Carolina A&T is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games against a team with a winning percentage above .600 while the under is 4-0 in their last 4 Sunday games. Iowa State is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following an ATS win and 4-9 ATS in their last 13 home games against a team with a road winning percentage below .400 while the under is 5-0 in their last 5 games overall.

I get the case to be made either way, but I’m backing the Cyclones here. The IUPUI Jaguars didn’t put up much of a fight in the Cyclones’ opener, but Iowa State was flat out dominant in that game and I expect a similar showing here. NC A&T was torched by Iowa in their opener and I just think the Aggies are in some kind of trouble here. Give me the Cyclones by 20+.
