Arizona vs. Creighton 11/23/22 College Basketball Picks, Predictions, Odds

The Creighton Bluejays and the Arizona Wildcats meet in college basketball action from the Lahaina Civic Center on Wednesday.

The Creighton Bluejays come into this matchup fresh off of their 90-87 win over the Arkansas Razorbacks last time out. Ryan Kalkbrenner leads the Bluejays in scoring with 15.2 PPG along with 6.6 RPG while Arthur Kaluma has 14.4 PPG with 5.4 RPG and Trey Alexander has 12.4 PPG with 4.4 RPG. Baylor Scheierman has 10.6 PPG with a team-high 9.4 RPG to lead the Bluejays on the glass and to round out the group of double-digit scorers for Creighton up to this point in the season. Ryan Nembhard also has 8.8 PPG and a team-high 5.8 APG as well to lead the Bluejays in the assist department. As a team, Creighton is averaging 84.7 points per game on 52% shooting from the field, 37.8% from three point range and 69.3% from the foul line this season.

The Arizona Wildcats will hope to build on an 87-70 win over San Diego State last time out. Azuolas Tubelis leads the Wildcats in scoring with 22.5 PPG along with 8.5 RPG while Oumar Ballo has 18 PPG and a team-high 9.5 RPG to lead the Wildcats on the glass this season. Courtney Ramey has 17 PPG and 4 RPG and Kerr Kriisa has 14.5 PPG with 4.5 RPG and a team-high 7.8 APG to lead Arizona in assists this season. Pelle Larsson’s added 13.8 PPG and 5 RPG and Cedric Henderson Jr. also has 10.5 PPG this season for the Wildcats. As a team, Arizona is averaging 100.8 PPG on 62.1% shooting from the field, 47.4% from three and 74.1% from the foul line this season.

I get the case to be made for either side in this one, but I’m looking firmly at the over here. These are two teams that have had no problems racking up the points up to this point in the year and even in a tournament title game, I don’t think we’ll see anything different. I could easily see both teams getting into the high-70s or low-80s in this game at the very least, so give me the over here.
